Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist Staten Island/Bard Ave Monday

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Technologist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and performing procedures according to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately utilize the PACS system to make images available to radiologists for interpretation.
- Enter proper exam coding in the Radiology Information System and complete exams in a timely fashion.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
- Instruct and supervise radiography students in clinical practicum.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Technical Diploma from an AMA-approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License or New York State Radiologic Technologist Temp Permit.
- ARRT Advanced Certification in MRI required within 180 days of hire or transfer.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
