Position Overview:
Service excellence is the cornerstone of our values at Vail Resorts, and our Lift Operations are integral to providing an extraordinary experience.
As a Lift Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of resort lifts. You will lead with courtesy and expertise, demonstrating a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily lift operations, including scheduling, lift operator assignments, and procedural documentation.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations; assist in emergency situations as needed.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of lift operators.
- Monitor lift operator performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition.
- Maintain knowledge of and enforce all relevant laws, regulations, and policies to guarantee guest safety.
- Inspect and maintain all operational equipment and facilities.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred. A valid driver’s license is necessary, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a relevant area. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications, are essential. Flexibility to work in various weather conditions is required, and fluency in English is a must.
The expected pay range is competitive and will be determined based on experience.
