Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Order Taker/Runner to join our team at H-E-B. As an Order Taker/Runner, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive and memorable guest experience by taking orders, preparing drinks, delivering food, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area and patio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service
  • Experience in restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
  • Completion of Alcohol Seller Training / Cash Handling training upon hire
