We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cinema Runner to join our team at Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences in our theatres.

Job Summary

The Cinema Runner is responsible for delivering ordered food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests while embodying our service standards.
  • Work closely with the expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
  • Double-check orders to ensure accuracy and communicate with the kitchen/expediter/supervisors if issues arise.
  • Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling opportunities.
  • Clean auditoriums, removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items.
  • Be of service to team members and assist with tasks such as scanning tickets, cleaning, and restroom checks.
  • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to the proper resource if unable to assist.
  • Be cognizant of issues with movie projections and communicate with management when necessary.
  • Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures, including other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 1+ years of food running or bussing experience preferred.
  • ServSafe, Food Handling, and Alcohol training certifications required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations.
  • Must be able to maintain strong attention to detail while prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have integrity and be counted on to do the right thing.
  • Available nights, holidays, and weekends.
