Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Security Engineer to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient environments, we are committed to putting the planet first and making a better future for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and decompose product security requirements into backlog work items.
  • Develop and implement secure embedded software for multiple refrigeration and mobile HVAC applications.
  • Drive security activities such as threat modeling, security DFMEA, penetration testing, attack modeling, and attack stories to completion.
  • Review and recommend assessment updates on projects to counteract new threats and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with the team and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the development and execution of the business and portfolio strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
  • 2+ years of experience with product security.
  • Experience with Linux-based embedded systems development.
  • Experience with CAN J1939 communication protocol.
  • Experience with ARM processors.
  • Familiarity with tools like Coverity, SAST, DAST, software composition analysis.
  • Python, C, and C++ programming skills with debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Location:
