Position Overview

The role of an Aerial Lift Trimmer with a CDL is essential in ensuring the safety and maintenance of utility lines through effective tree management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and promote safe work practices consistently.
  • Assist in the preparation of vehicles and materials necessary for daily operations.
  • Execute professional tree care tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Trim and clear trees and brush from utility lines; safely remove branches and trees as required.
  • Ensure proper cleanup and disposal of all debris.
  • Maintain and monitor all tools and equipment utilized during daily tasks.
  • Continuously enhance climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve professional capabilities.
  • Support fellow crew members in all daily operations.
  • Protect coworkers and the public from potential hazards by enforcing safety protocols, maintaining a tidy work environment, and ensuring clear communication with team members.
  • Participate in storm response efforts as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aerial Lift Trimmer is required.
  • Experience in sectors such as electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license is required; CDL is preferred.

This position requires the candidate to successfully pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
