Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Supply Chain Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As an Avionics Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting multiple Blue Origin facilities, focusing on the Blue Engines program in an avionics hardware role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve technical issues and sustain suitable manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks at suppliers, engage in failure investigations and RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) as needed.
  • Engage with avionics colleagues to maintain corrective actions and schedules.
  • Review and ensure compliance with statements of work (SOW) and provide DFX feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred).
  • 3+ years of avionics hardware manufacturing experience on the job.
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals of aerospace avionics hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace avionics/electronics hardware manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Practical RCCA process knowledge (DMAIC preferred), Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in SOW generation and compliance.
  • Experience performing supplier assessments and non-conformance/RCCA support.
