Supply Chain Optimization Engineer

Salary
This position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market, depending on your location and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, you may also receive equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our SCOT Lab team. As a key member of our team, you will analyze large amounts of business data, define new metrics and business cases, design experiments, create models, and collaborate with teammates to solve real-world problems. Your strong analytical background and ability to thrive in an environment that leverages statistics, machine learning, operations research, and business analysis will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large amounts of business data to identify trends and insights
- Define new metrics and business cases to drive decision-making
- Design experiments to test hypotheses and optimize processes
- Create models to predict outcomes and inform strategy
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
