Procurement Specialist for Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team at GPAC, an award-winning search firm. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities- Strategically identify and qualify suppliers to meet project requirements, leveraging your expertise in procurement processes.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors, using your strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to inform purchasing decisions, optimizing budget allocation and minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely deliveries to job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance, providing valuable insights to inform future procurement decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or multifamily development industry, is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software is necessary for effective task management and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records and meeting project deadlines.
