The Policy Services Underwriting Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Policy Services team. This includes data entry, policy issuance, and management of policy and endorsement transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Types policies and endorsements using the Policy Issuance and Microsoft Word systems.
  • Daily entry of policies and endorsements into Century's Information Management System (CIMS).
  • Manages all policy and endorsement transactions in keeping with the Policy Services Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Checks, analyzes, and classifies or alphabetizes materials.
  • Conducts limited research when necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Prior experience in data entry, administrative, and/or clerical roles preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task assignments.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.
