We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Professional to join our team at Equinox in the Upper East Side. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness experiences to our members, while also developing and refining your skills and knowledge in programming, education, business, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Build and maintain a strong client base, manage and maintain an accurate schedule, and market and sell personal training programs to members and clients.
- Client Services: Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members, and interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience.
- Program Development: Create and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clients, and maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
- Professional Development: Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions, and participate in one-on-one or team meetings with management.
- Certifications: Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
- Education: Eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field).
- Skills: Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness, and ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and organizational skills, and basic computer and technology skills.
