Upper East Side Store Manager

Lead with Excellence
The Manager at Daily Provisions - Upper East Side is a key member of our team, responsible for providing leadership and support to the Front of House and Back of House teams. This role requires a strong understanding of hospitality principles and the ability to cultivate a culture of excellence throughout the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
- Exhibit expert knowledge of beverage and kitchen stations, ensuring that all team members are properly trained and equipped to provide exceptional service.
- Champion the Daily Provisions brand, promoting our values of Enlightened Hospitality and commitment to quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all physical inventory is properly stocked and that employees are aware of their responsibilities regarding cleanliness and safety.
- Provide ongoing support to Front of House and Back of House staff, actively participating in the cycle of service as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all HR practices and policies, holding employees accountable to standards and evaluating disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Manage payroll processes accurately and efficiently, adhering to business and accounting procedures.
- Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
- Provide feedback and guidance to team members, focusing on excellence and hospitality in all interactions.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of management experience in a similar environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job (preferred, not required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- NYC DOHMH Food Protection Certificate holder.
- English fluency and Spanish preferred.
