Key Responsibilities

Your Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work from various locations within our Civil Engineering, Site, and Utilities divisions.

Main Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to execute engineering tasks, including calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Create detailed plans, sections, and drawings using both manual methods and AutoCAD software.
  • Deliver precise design outputs, covering layouts, grading, stormwater management, and roadway alignments, focusing on site development projects.
  • Conduct environmental fieldwork, including natural resource assessments and wetlands delineation.
  • Adhere to State and Local regulations regarding stormwater management and sediment control.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract documents in a timely manner.
  • Manage the submission and acquisition of necessary permits efficiently.
  • Engage in construction administration tasks, including site inspections and responding to contractor inquiries.
Qualifications

What We Seek:
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in MD, PA, or VA.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, site design, and utility design.
  • Proficient in site engineering principles, hydrology, and familiarity with local stormwater management regulations.
  • Experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Willingness to work primarily in an office environment, with occasional outdoor duties.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
