Your Role
As a Project Engineer within our Water and Wastewater Engineering Team, you will:
  • Develop engineering design files, specifications, cost estimates, models, and reports for water and sewer projects.
  • Coordinate the efforts of various engineering disciplines and subconsultants.
  • Assist in building client relationships and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent AMT at professional events and associations.
  • Support engineering staff in the creation of construction documents.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of water distribution and sewer collection systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering field.
  • EIT certification is required; PE certification is preferred.
  • Experience in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public agency water/sewer pipeline projects.
  • Familiarity with project permitting processes.
  • Technical proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
  • Experience in water and/or sewer modeling and designing pumping, treatment, and storage facilities is advantageous.
