Job Summary:

We are seeking an entry-level Refrigeration Technician Level 1 to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to ensuring that systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
  • Complete basic repairs and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units.
  • Follow safety protocols and company standards when handling refrigerants and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and systems serviced.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose issues and learn best practices.
  • Support the team with general HVAC duties as needed.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and continue to develop technical skills.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems or HVAC preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the refrigeration field.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols related to refrigeration and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Prior experience or training in HVAC or refrigeration is a plus.
