About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team at Hotel Topeka at City Center. As the face of our operation, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze occupancy reports and financial information to inform business decisions
- Direct and oversee front desk operations, ensuring seamless customer service and high standards of guest satisfaction
- Hire, train, and supervise front desk staff, including concierge and front desk agents, to ensure excellent guest services and adherence to hotel policies
- Manage the front desk budget, ordering office supplies as needed, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Communicate effectively with hotel guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
- Proficient bookkeeping skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or supervisory role
- Excellent communication, management, and multitasking skills
- High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
- Over 2 years of experience in office management in the hospitality industry as a front desk supervisor or similar position
