Job Summary:

M/I Homes, Inc. is seeking a skilled Customer Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by performing inspections and repairs for completed homes in accordance with product and company warranties and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Repair Homes: Perform Post Closing Customer Visits (PCCV) and other inspections as per departmental and company standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Work Orders: May complete work orders required to meet customer needs, providing problem-solving on-site.
  • Coordinate Subcontractors: Contact and schedule appropriate subcontractors to perform work as required.
  • Monitor Work Order Status: Initiate service work orders, set appointments with subcontractors, monitor progress and quality of work, and keep customers apprised of work order status.
  • Direct and Supervise Subcontractors: Direct and supervise subcontractors to improve efficiency and workflow.
  • Maintain Service Vehicle Inventories: Maintain service vehicle inventories, including appropriate materials and equipment.
  • Participate in Departmental Meetings: Participate in departmental meetings to discuss service issues, work schedules, enhance job quality and performance, and increase workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with Special Projects: Assist in special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.
