Nurse Care Specialist

At ACLD, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Residential Program team. As an integral part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our adult group home residents with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a current NYS LPN license, one year of health services experience, and a general knowledge of medications and their interactions. Prior experience with tracheotomies and PEG tubes is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities will include ensuring medications are properly dispensed and documented, performing prescribed medical treatments, and assisting Registered Nurses with medical emergencies. You will also review medical charts to ensure necessary medical document reports are current and complete needed documentation checklists.

We require a Certified and currently registered Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York Department of Education, as well as CPR certification. If you are passionate about creating a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply.
