Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production department, ensuring that all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop employees to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance.
  • Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage employee performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and employee engagement.
  • Identify areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Poultry or food industry experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
