Job Responsibilities
We are in search of a compassionate and skilled RN to provide outstanding patient care in our surgical care unit. This role involves delivering direct nursing care to patients who are critically ill and recovering from various surgical and medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering patient-centered nursing care and engaging in patient and family education.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Coordinating discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Maintaining cultural and diversity awareness while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a valid Multistate Compact License.
- Preferred: 1 year of medical-surgical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
