We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will assist with the nursing care of patients and function as a sterile scrub person caring for patients undergoing surgery.
Responsibilities- Assist with the nursing care of patients under the supervision of an OR Registered Nurse
- Set up the sterile surgical field using aseptic technique
- Assist the circulating Registered Nurse with operating room set up, equipment, and positioning of the surgical patient
- Perform supply management duties
- Surgical Technology Program graduate or equivalent training
- Certified Surgical Technologist and Licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician
