Job Summary

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of consumer support services at assigned locations. This role involves supervising personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives within general resource and reimbursement models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure consumer and guardian participation in the development of service plans and personal futures plans.
  • Coordinate the development of personal futures plans and schedule team meetings, ensuring all team members are informed.
  • Schedule and chair screenings for program vacancies and develop waiting lists for potential consumer vacancies.
  • Monitor service sites to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, and implement plans of correction as necessary.
  • Investigate incidents of consumer abuse, neglect, or mistreatment, and initiate plans of correction to prevent recurrences.
  • Monitor and implement delivery of service plans and personal futures plans, and provide training to staff.
  • Document consumer progress or regression, and initiate discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Maintain fiscal spending within approved budget limits.
  • Monitor worker's compensation and unemployment claims, and take proactive steps to reduce claims and minimize risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities.
