Surgical Technologist

Certified Surgical Technologists at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center are required to hold certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP), and Chemotherapy (CHEMO). Additionally, they must have Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification and IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other). Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) training is also required.
Job DetailsThis role is part of the Surgical Services team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, a short-term acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designations. The hospital has 629 total staffed beds and is a teaching hospital. The Surgical Technologist will work in a variety of settings, including operating rooms, and will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
Work ScheduleThis position requires working weekends, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Block schedules are also required. The expected patient ratios are 1:1, and the Surgical Technologist will be responsible for managing their workload and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
