As a Professional Development Specialist - Ambulatory Nurse Educator at LifeBridge Health, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support to our ambulatory staff. Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice, you will be responsible for delivering professional development expertise as an educator, change agent, leader, consultant, and facilitator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation, competency assessment, and continuing education to all clinical staff.
- Foster the empowerment of staff through knowledge and achievement of excellence through the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice.
- Continually assess the learning needs of all clinical staff, lead and maintain all clinical programs and courses, while evaluating the impact of their outcomes.
- Deliver information thoroughly and effectively utilizing a variety of teaching styles and techniques for the adult learner.
Requirements:
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Other combination of education or experience may be considered.
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Nsg Professional Maryland Registered Nurse Certification preferred.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR.
