Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engine Technician to join our dedicated team. This role involves critical responsibilities in ensuring the operational readiness and safety of aircraft engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance and certification of airworthiness for various aircraft systems.
  • Prioritize and manage ongoing work tasks effectively.
  • Certify the qualifications of fellow technicians.
  • Perform In Progress Inspections (IPI) and address any discrepancies.
  • Evaluate and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Engage in crew chief duties and assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations.
  • Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and engine components to maintain airworthiness.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures, utilizing technical manuals and specifications.
  • Inspect engine components for wear and damage, replacing as necessary.
  • Utilize hoists or dollies for engine removal, repair, and reinstallation.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions in automated systems.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; proficiency in mathematics is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential for interpreting technical documentation.
  • Physical capability to perform all assigned tasks, including extensive climbing and maneuvering.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances and a valid driver's license.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
