Registered Nurse RN Med Surg Tele Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry department at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in a medical telemetry environment.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
