Job Summary

As a key member of the DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan team, the Cardiology Services Manager will oversee the personnel, clinical, and financial activities of the Invasive Cardiology department. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Invasive Cardiology department, including personnel, clinical, and financial activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other facility and system management teams to integrate programs and coordinate the work of assigned nursing and technical personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and system-wide goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and quantity of work-flow to ensure operations meet the highest standards of patient care, productivity, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Initiate and recommend personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, including operating and capital budgets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in Cardiology Invasive Procedures.
