Cardiologist with Advanced Heart Failure Expertise

OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Cardiologist with advanced training in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to join our Cardiovascular Institute. As a member of our team, you will be part of a large and collegial group of 30 Cardiologists, working closely with Cardiology Fellows and supporting the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency.
The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team is based at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, a high-volume quaternary referral center with 642 beds. Our comprehensive program includes a fully staffed and busy inpatient service, high-volume outpatient clinic, and a CMS Certified Heart Transplant Program with tremendous growth potential.
As a Heart Failure Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a robust Interventional Cardiology program, a high-volume Electrophysiology program, and a comprehensive Structural Heart Disease program. You will also be part of a team that provides Regional Cardiogenic Shock referral services and has a Gold Level ECMO Program.

Qualifications- Doctorate degree in Medicine
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
- Eligible for medical staff membership and privileges
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
