Cardiologist with Advanced Heart Failure Expertise

OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to join our Cardiovascular Institute. As a member of our team, you will be part of a large and collegial group of 30 Cardiologists, working closely with Cardiology Fellows and supporting the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency.
The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team is based at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, a high-volume quaternary referral center with 642 beds. Our comprehensive program includes a fully staffed and busy inpatient service, high-volume outpatient clinic, and a CMS Certified Heart Transplant Program with tremendous growth potential.
We offer a highly competitive, hybrid-model compensation package with an emphasis on work-life balance, including a competitive base salary, incentives, 4 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid holidays, 480 hours sick time/year, and a signing bonus. Additionally, we provide paid occurrence-based malpractice, CME, association membership dues, health, life, and dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid relocation.

Requirements:
- Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in the current state
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies)
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
Preferred qualifications include demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
