OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to join our team at the OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute.

About the Opportunity

We are a group of 30 Cardiologists dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine. Our team is based out of OSF St. Francis Medical Center, a high-volume quaternary referral center with 642 beds.

Our Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Program
  • Comprehensive Advanced Heart Failure program with a fully staffed and busy inpatient service and high-volume outpatient clinic
  • CMS Certified Heart Transplant Program with tremendous growth potential
  • CMS Certified LVAD Program with two Heart Failure surgeons implanting HeartMate 3
  • ACGME Certified Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship with 9 General Cardiology fellows
  • Cardiogenic Shock referral center with surgical and interventional temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support services
  • ELSO Certified Gold Level ECMO Program (VA and VV)
  • Robust Interventional Cardiology program with comprehensive Structural Heart Disease program
  • High-volume Electrophysiology program with expertise in high-risk endo/epicardial VT ablation

Qualifications
  • Doctorate
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state
  • Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
