Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to work as a Resort Cook in our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring that all food products are prepared and presented to meet the expectations of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of hot food products, including meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other menu items.
- Portion food products accurately and efficiently according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery during peak periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential, preferably with at least 2 years of kitchen experience.
- ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is mandatory.
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is required.
- Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
