Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to patient education, and provide support to patients and families throughout the surgical process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
  • Experience in surgical services, critical care, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
