Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Manager to become part of our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This role will be based in Roy, Utah and will support our Advanced Programs.
We adopt a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity, examining the entire cyber landscape of personnel, processes, and technology, as well as the full spectrum of security encompassing offense, defense, and exploitation. Thought leadership in this area is paramount.
The Cybersecurity Manager for Classified Solutions Advanced Programs will oversee a geographically dispersed team of 4 - 6 contributors. This team is tasked with managing all facets of Authorization to Operate (ATO) management, which includes developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) Bodies of Evidence (BOE), cybersecurity risk mitigation, and monitoring solutions for research and development efforts aligned with Northrop Grumman's Advanced Programs teams. A robust background in classified information systems security is essential, including familiarity with the Intelligence Community assessment and authorization process (ICD-503), Special Access Programs (JSIG), and/or DoD collateral processes (NISPOM and DAAPM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Digital Ecosystem Cybersecurity Strategy as directed by the Digital Ecosystem Cyber Element Lead, supporting Sentinel and Advanced Programs Classified Solutions initiatives.
- Inspire the team and achieve objectives related to Cybersecurity Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, and Agile Work Breakdown Structure.
- Manage a cybersecurity program that effectively meets customer requirements and integrates necessary internal and external organizations.
- Identify, allocate, and oversee cybersecurity resources, including workforce planning.
- Deliver presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.
- Track and fulfill program requirements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance of environments and maintain formal accreditation authorizations from government entities.
- Foster an environment conducive to individual growth, teamwork, effective performance management, open communication, financial oversight, and resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to Northrop Grumman and Cyber ISS organizational policies and procedures, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Support the formal Security Assessment process as required by the company or government clients.
Qualifications:
- AA Degree with 5 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
- US Citizenship with Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Access.
- At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- 1+ year of experience in Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
- 1+ year of experience supporting Advanced Program ATO administration under JSIG.
- 1+ year of experience with current DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification (e.g., CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diverse background in classified information systems security/information assurance.
- Prior experience in communication with customer and program leadership.
- Business Acumen: Ability to apply knowledge and insights of business and cybersecurity concepts to enhance program decisions and performance.
- Communications: Ability to manage stakeholder communications through organized processes to ensure program information is effectively defined, collected, shared, and understood.
- Issue & Problem Resolution: Ability to proactively identify and address cybersecurity program impacts, ensuring conflicts are communicated and resolved promptly.
