Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in our facilities. This includes dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting. You will also be responsible for collecting trash, recycling, and soiled linen, and ensuring the proper disposal of these items.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in our facilities
  • Dust and wet mop floors, strip and wax, buff, shampoo, extract, and bonnet carpets
  • Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen and ensure proper disposal
  • Utilize protective gear in all functions and follow safety precautions
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products
