Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including general and vascular ultrasound procedures. Your expertise will help us provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts exams
  • Take call as needed and work varied days and hours
  • Assist physicians in procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies
  • Position and transfer patients comfortably and maintain established organizational radiology and ultrasound policies
  • Participate in call rotation for ultrasound procedures and work with student ultrasound technologists
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of ultrasound specific college coursework, associate degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARDMS eligible and must have two ARDMS registries within two years of hire
  • Current BLS required
