Job Title: Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As an Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including general and vascular ultrasound, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound exams, including abdominal, OB/Gyn, and small parts, as well as vascular ultrasound exams, including LEV, LEA, UEA, UEV, and Carotid exams.
  • Take call as needed and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist physicians in procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of ultrasound specific college coursework, associate degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARDMS certification within one year of hire
  • Current BLS required
