Role Summary:
As the Lead Receiver, you will oversee the management of incoming food, beverage, equipment, and disposable supplies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inventories and organizing items according to established protocols, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards as well as compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting daily reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for food, beverages, and disposables, communicating with management regarding ordering needs.
  • Assist in daily and weekly inventory counts, reporting discrepancies to purchasing agents.
  • Ensure sanitary practices in food handling and uphold cleanliness in receiving and storage areas.
  • Guarantee compliance with all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
  • Conduct daily inspections of storage and receiving areas.
  • Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Receive supplies, verify invoices, and ensure quality standards are met according to company guidelines.
  • Address any order issues with suppliers and relay information to management.
  • Organize supplies in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and monitoring expiration dates.
  • Prepare daily receiving reports and transmit invoices to the corporate office.
  • Process invoices within the property management system.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a storeroom or warehouse setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience handling food products.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing between 40-50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and refrigerated environment.
