Job Summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Addiction Studies Instructor to teach Addiction Studies courses at our Middletown Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct students in Addiction Studies courses
  • Create syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes
  • Ensure students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus
  • Maintain electronic records of student performance, progress, and attendance
  • Complete all start and end-of-semester responsibilities, including submission of no-show rosters and final grades
Requirements
  • Master's degree in an addiction or mental health related discipline with at least two years of clinical experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Availability to teach face-to-face courses at the Middletown Campus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board or the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board
  • Three years of teaching or industry experience
  • Experience using online learning management systems
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences
  • Ability to employ a range of classroom/instructional technologies
