Adjunct Instructor - Landscape Horticulture

Job Summary:

The adjunct instructor will be responsible for planning and executing courses in the landscape horticulture department, working closely with full-time faculty and course documents to ensure students learn desired competencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and instruction to students
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty and course documents to ensure students meet desired competencies
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in horticulture or a related field and three years of experience
  • Experience in training and supervising a minimum of three employees
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in horticulture or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or at least five years of experience in a horticulture or agriculture-related field
  • One year of teaching or training experience
Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills to interact with students, other faculty, administrators, and the community
