Job Title: National Account Manager - Retail

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager - Retail to join our team. This is a remote position, and candidates can reside anywhere within the United States.

Job Overview:

The National Account Manager - Retail is responsible for proactively supporting the sales and profit potential of the Bussmann Retail accounts. The objective is to maximize sales, profitability, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the director of retail sales and other team members to achieve annual sales budgets across the retail product lines.
  • Be responsible for assigned aspects of account management, including meeting assigned sales targets and maximizing profitability.
  • Make relationships with account merchants and their teams to proactively respond to their needs, identify new opportunities, resolve current issues, and participate in PLRs, promotions, training, and other customer-driven initiatives.
  • Work with third-party sales and service teams to help manage in-store service, new store sets, store training, and other store events.
  • Provide external intelligence and compile competitive analysis, including new product introductions, benchmarking, market share, SWOT analysis, pricing, and more.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to align sales forecasts with production planning.
  • Develop strategic business partnerships that influence divisional plans, support business programs, and drive growth.
  • Guide other internal functions in understanding and acting upon account, consumer, and industry insights.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and customer end-user events to obtain feedback and voice of customer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, marketing, or merchandising roles of increasing responsibility working with consumer products.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with consumer products, preferably in electrical products.
  • Experience working in retail.
  • Experience working in the automotive aftermarket or hardware market.
Skills:
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Compensation:

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $138,750 - $203,500.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
