**Job Summary**

Applied Medical is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measurement equipment and tools.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • High School Diploma, technical trade school training, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience with metrology software, measurement equipment, and tools.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings per American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with a variety of computer programs including spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to metrology and quality control.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience with designing fixtures or tooling in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Experience drafting engineering documents such as Manufacturing/Quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Gage R&R. Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack up, and manufacturing processes for precision machined parts.
