Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team at a medical device manufacturer located in the Lake Forest area. This is a great opportunity for growth and stability with a reputable company.

This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity, working 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with mandatory daily overtime and 1-2 Saturdays a month. A full background check will be completed prior to start. The pay rate is $18-23/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Maintain QC Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance.
Adhere to QMS, ISO 13485, and FDA rules and regulations.
Inspect and approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
Inspect and approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

Requirements:

Min 1 year QC Inspector experience.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to use measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and willingness to step forward to discuss with management any engineering change requests.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to):
$23.00 Per Hour
