Piedmont Newton Hospital offers a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program that prepares new graduate nurses for a successful transition to practice. Our program provides education, mentorship, and peer support to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in your nursing career.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per yearJob SummaryThe Staff Nurse provides high-quality patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care based on their unique needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices
To be eligible for this role, you must have a current RN license in the State of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. BLS certification is also required.
