Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Louisville is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent member experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facility/property management.
  • Skills: Computer skills, including HVAC and lighting controls, excellent organizational and communication skills, highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Certifications: Certification or experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and housekeeping preferred.
