Precision Machining Specialist

Design Ol Inc is in search of a skilled Precision Machining Specialist to enhance our operations in the manufacturing sector, focusing on the production of intricate aerospace components.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating various machine tools to fabricate high-precision parts and instruments.
  • Adjusting and managing machine tools for accurate machining tasks.
  • Inspecting and measuring for defects to ensure compliance with specifications using advanced precision instruments.
  • Monitoring the feed and speed of machines throughout the machining process.
  • Maintaining machine tools in peak operational condition.
  • Reviewing sample parts, blueprints, or engineering documents to determine fabrication methods or sequences of operations.
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to share technical insights.
  • Assessing machining procedures and proposing enhancements for improved efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of an apprenticeship program and/or technical school training is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in machining.
  • Skills: Strong complex problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, sound judgment, and effective decision-making.
