Job Summary:

Engine Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Dedication Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer purchase orders for technical requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and specify technical requirements for parts ordered, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create component functional test procedures, including testing for relays, pump/motor assemblies, contactors, pressure switches, temperature switches, pressure regulating valves, and pressure relief valves.
  • Write component dedication reports, outlining inspection and test requirements, critical dimensions, component material specifications, and operability requirements.
  • Develop component seismic shake test procedures to ensure the reliability of our components.
  • Review inspection and test results for completeness and conformance to specified acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain technical information for components and work closely with our QA, Purchasing, and Customer Service Departments.
  • Perform activities within department budget and schedule requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Safety Focus:

  • Develop relationships with coworkers to better understand the processes and culture that affect safety.
  • Influence safety by evaluating safety performance, participating in safety meetings, targeting areas needing improvement, and developing initiatives to impact those areas.
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable of Safe Work Policy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (4-year degree).
  • Experience in control and monitoring system design is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing skills.
