About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Technician at Penske, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements
  • 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license required.
