Cloud Engineer for DAF CLOUDworks

Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Administrator to maintain and enhance capabilities in support of DAF CLOUDworks at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in Rome, NY or Beavercreek, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers leveraging DAF CLOUDworks.
  • Interface with multiple, geographically disbursed teams and effectively communicate project statuses and blockers.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field with 5+ years of experience or a Master's degree in a STEM related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
  • Able to obtain IAT Level II certification per DoD such as CASP+ or Security+ within 60 days of start date.
  • Proficiency with Linux Operating Systems and experience with Cloud-based technologies, such as AWS.
  • Expertise utilizing security management tools (i.e. ACAS) and experience with administering to cloud-based networks (i.e. WAF).
  • Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Bash, PowerShell) and knowledgeable in package management for OS (i.e. yum).
  • Familiarity with leveraging git and GitHub/GitLab for code management and experience working on team that adheres to Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or IAT Level II equivalent per DoD.
  • Certified (associate level or above) in cloud platform.
  • Experience working with systems that are operationally available to DoD end users.
  • Knowledge of Containerization & Orchestration (i.e. Docker).
  • Knowledge utilizing configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible).
  • Experience with database administration (SQL & NoSQL).

Salary Range: $88,600 - $133,000

Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900
