We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital's UTower Medical Oncology Nursing 11 North. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our medical oncology department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meals and feeding patients, as well as ambulating, turning, and positioning patients
- Administer enemas, douches, and other treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Collect and process patient specimens, including urine and blood samples
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the assigned nurse
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Commitment to the University's core values
