Primary Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our team at Providence Extended Care. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a resident-directed care model in our cottage setting.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments, assist with care and interventions, and supervise team members to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
- Monitor the implementation of care plans and coordinate referrals to other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, families, and physicians.
- Promote a resident-directed care model, utilizing every aspect of the environment and care model to promote quality of life and a sense of belonging.

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation center).
- Supervision and leadership experience.
